Foreword
Somewhere Down the Road
First, I must thank my husband, for if it weren’t for all his patience and my frequent demands of quiet time- this book would not be possible.
He has taught me how to believe in writing again- even if it be a novel based on true events. I may not make millions, but I hope this will be a milestone.
In December 2010, he convinced me that I could write my first novel… “If you want to write a book and make it sappy and moving, do it!”
So this novel and hopefully many more, I leave you to read…
I am so amazingly bless to have a best friend who knows me sometimes better than I know myself.
I have sayings all over our home and the one I love the most is, “We may not have it all, but together we do!”
My love, you are my rock and you have helped me in so many indescribable ways in these last 11-1/2 years we have been together. I love you so much more than words will ever say. Thank you for giving me the chance to discover more miracles, for loving me and being a wonderful Dad to our two precious children.
I also dedicate this book to my loving children, for this book is written proof of what happens, when you believe in miracles.
I can only hope that you open yourself up to the great journey of writing one day! I love you very much! Keep going with your smiles!
Pop-Pop,
I know you are looking over me, like you always did. You are my guardian angel. I know you are proud of me for all that I have accomplished here in life and I know there’s no stopping now.
Therefore, I will continue to follow my dreams and being one of your favorite little girls. Your voice I can hear all the time, your warm hugs and your heart will always live within me. T hank you Pop-Pop for giving me the gift of love and understanding of how it is to love me as your granddaughter, I love you very much…
God Teaches Us Happiness- Even In Loss
As a believer in my own faith, getting through those bumps requires me to start writing- and praying.
God doesn’t promise us the easy road- He makes it possible.
However, with all the paths I’ve come across and while holding onto my own faith, I know there is always a light- at the end of my road.
During my journey, I have come to understand what my purpose is in this life. That if we allow ourselves to hold onto ones’ hand- we will be guided into our own great journey.
Even in our trials- We cannot allow ourselves to fall away from our faith.
It takes patience, however, to listen to that still voice. Therefore, I simply get on my knees and pray, or ready my pen in hand and I continue on.
Throughout this meditation, I oftentimes find my way, believing that somewhere down the road… someone holds my answers.
