Some children are visual learners. To really make the Bible come to life for them, they will need pictures and descriptive details. Seeing David before a giant may be hard to imagine, but having it in a picture form puts the story into perspective for them. A book that makes the Bible understandable would help children to have an interest in these ancient stories.
