Psalm 147

      Ps 147,1 Lobet JAHWEH! denn unseren Gott [Elohim] loben, das ist ein köstlich Ding; solch Lob ist lieblich und schön.

      KJV + EL = HalleluYah! For it is good to sing praises to our Elohim; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

      Ps 147,2 JAHWEH baut Jerusalem und bringt zusammen die Verjagten Israels.

      KJV + EL = YAHWEH does build up Jerusalem: he gathers together the outcasts of Israel.

      Ps 147,3 Er heilt, die zerbrochenes Herzens sind, und verbindet ihre Schmerzen.

      KJV + EL = He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

      Ps 147,4 Er zählt die Sterne und nennt sie alle mit Namen.

      KJV + EL = He counts the number of the stars; he calls them all by their names.

      Ps 147,5 JAHWEH ist groß und von großer Kraft; und ist unbegreiflich, wie er regiert.

      KJV + EL = Great is YAHWEH/ our Sovereign, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

      Ps 147,6 LUTHER + ELBERFELDER 1871 = JAHWEH richtet auf die Elenden und stößt die Gesetzlosen zu Boden.

      KJV + EL = YAHWEH lifts up the meek: he casts the wicked/ the lawless down to the ground.

      Ps 147,7 Singet umeinander (ihm) JAHWEH mit Dank und lobet unseren Gott [Elohim] mit Harfen,

      KJV + EL = Sing to YAHWEH with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp to our Elohim:

      Ps 147,8 der den Himmel mit Wolken verdeckt und gibt Regen auf Erden; der Gras auf Bergen wachsen läßt;

      KJV + EL = Who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow upon the mountains.

      Ps 147,9 der dem Vieh sein Futter gibt, den jungen Raben, die ihn anrufen.

      KJV + EL = He gives to the beast its food, and to the young ravens that cry.

      Hiob 38,41

      Ps 147,10 Er hat nicht Lust an der Stärke des Rosses noch Gefallen an eines Mannes Schenkeln.

      KJV + EL = He delights not in the strength of the horse: he takes not pleasure in the legs of a man.

      Ps 147,11 JAHWEH hat Gefallen an denen, die ihn fürchten, die auf seine Güte hoffen.

      KJV + EL = YAHWEH takes pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

      Ps 147,12 Preise, Jerusalem, JAHWEH; lobe Zion, deinen Gott [Elohim]!

      KJV + EL = Praise YAHWEH, O Jerusalem; praise your Elohim, O Zion.

      Ps 147,13 Denn er macht fest die Riegel deiner Tore und segnet deine Kinder drinnen.

      KJV + EL = For he has strengthened the bars of your gates; he has blessed your children within you.

      Ps 147,14 Er schafft deinen Grenzen Frieden und sättigt dich mit dem besten Weizen.

      KJV + EL = He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest of the wheat.

      Ps 81,17

      Ps 147,15 Er sendet seine Befehle (Rede) auf Erden; sein Wort läuft schnell.

      KJV + EL = He sends forth his commandment upon earth: his word runs very swiftly.

      Ps 147,16 Er gibt Schnee wie Wolle, er streut Reif wie Asche.

      KJV + EL = He gives snow like wool: he scatters the hoar-frost like ashes.

      Ps 147,17 Er wirft seine Schloßen wie Bissen; wer kann bleiben vor seinem Frost?

      KJV + EL = He casts forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

      Ps 147,18 Er spricht, so zerschmilzt es; er läßt seinen Wind wehen, so taut es auf.

      KJV + EL = He sends out his word, and melts them: he causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

      Ps 147,19 Er zeigt/ verkündet Jakob sein Wort, Israel seine Sitten/ Satzungen und Rechte.

      KJV + EL = He shows his word to Jacob; His statutes and his judgments/ ordinances to Israel.

      Ps 147,20 So tut er keiner Nation (keinen Heiden), noch läßt er sie wissen seine Rechte. HalleluJah!

      KJV + EL = He has not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. HalleluYah!
