from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon to the Messiah are fourteen generations.

Matt. 1,18 Now the birth of Yahshua the Messiah was on this wise: When as his mother Miriam was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the holy Spirit.

      Luke 1,35

Matt. 1,19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

Matt. 1,20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of YAHWEH appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take to you Miriam your wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the holy Spirit.

Matt. 1,21 And she shall bring forth a son; and you shall call his name YAHSHUA (greek = Jesus); for he shall save his people from their sins.

      Ps 130,8; Luke 2,21; Acts 4,12

      * note: The title "Lord" means in hebrew: "Baal", it is the sun-god. The Bethel Edition Bible explain it: 'A Semitic word which translates "lord." The baalin (pl.) were various local idols made of wood, stone, etc. and worshiped by the Canaanites. Israel assimilated many elements of baal worship, causing YAHWEH to be highly displeased. Several of the baals are with us today, including Baal-Gad (the Lord God, Yahschua 11:17, 12:7, 13:5), Baal-Shalisha (the lord of the trinity, 2 Kings 4:42), and others.

Matt. 1,22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by YAHWEH by the prophet, saying,

Matt. 1,23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanu El, which being interpreted is, Elohim with us.

Matt. 1,24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of YAHWEH had bidden him, and took to him his wife:

Matt. 1,25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Yahshua (Jesus = greek; but they spoke: hebrew - aramaic = Yahshua, that means: YAHWEH save!).

      Luke 2,7

      Chapter 2

Matt. 2,1 Now when Yahshua was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

      Luke 2,1-7

Matt. 2,2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to give homage to him.

      Num. 24,17

Matt. 2,3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

Matt. 2,4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where the Messiah should be born.

Matt. 2,5 And they said to him, In Bethlehem of Judea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

      John 7,42

Matt. 2,6 And you Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least among the princes of Judah: for out of you shall come a Governor, who shall be shepherd of my people Israel.

Matt. 2,7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

Matt. 2,8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and admire {do homage} him also (not exact and precise: worship).

Matt. 2,9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

Matt. 2,10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

Matt. 2,11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Miriam his mother, and fell down, and admired him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

      Ps 72,10.15; Is.60,6

Matt. 2,12 And being warned of YAHWEH in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Matt. 2,13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of YAHWEH appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be you there until I tell you: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

Matt. 2,14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

Matt. 2,15 and was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by YAHWEH by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my Son.

Matt. 2,16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.

Matt. 2,17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,

Matt. 2,18 “In Ramah was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.”

      Genesis 35,19

Matt. 2,19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of YAHWEH appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

Matt. 2,20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child‘s life.

      Exodus 4,19

Matt. 2,21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.

Matt. 2,22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there: and being warned by YAHWEH in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

Matt. 2,23 and he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fullfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

      chap. 4,17; Rom. 12,2

      * note: Return! or: convert! or: go in yourself! or: change your mind!

Matt. 3,3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying, The voice of one crying, in the wilderness,

Prepare you the way of YAHWEH, make his paths straight!
