South African (Child 2016) and current global (IUCN 2019 Red List category) conservation (Red Data) status: CR = Critically Endangered, EN = Endangered, VU = Vulnerable, NT = Near-threatened, LC = Least Concern, DD = Data Deficient, NE = Not Evaluated, * = no species account.
