Ps 89,26 Er wird mich nennen also: Du bist mein Vater, mein Gott [El] und Hort, der mir hilft.

Ps 89,27 MENGE = So will ich ihn zum Erstgeborenen machen, “zum Höchsten von den Königen der Erde.
KJV + EL = Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
Ps 89,28 Ich will ihm ewiglich bewahren meine Gnade, und mein Bund soll ihm fest bleiben.
KJV + EL = My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

Ps 89,29 MENGE = Auf ewig will ich sein Geschlecht erhalten und seinen Thron, solange der Himmel steht.
KJV + EL = His seed also will I make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
Ps 89,30 Wo aber seine Kinder mein Gesetz verlassen und in meinen Rechten nicht wandeln,
KJV + EL = If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
Ps 89,31 so sie meine Ordnungen entheiligen/ Satzungen entweihen und meine Gebote nicht halten,
KJV + EL = If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
Ps 89,32 ELBERFELDER 1871 = So werde ich mit der Rute heimsuchen ihre Übertretung, und mit Schlägen ihre Ungerechtigkeit.
KJV + EL = Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
Ps 89,33 aber meine Gnade/ Güte will ich nicht von ihm wenden und meine Wahrheit nicht lassen trügen/ meine Treue nicht verleugnen.
KJV + EL = Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
Ps 89,34 Ich will meinen Bund nicht entheiligen, und nicht ändern, was aus meinem Munde gegangen ist.
KJV + EL = My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
Ps 89,35 Ich habe einmal geschworen bei meiner Heiligkeit, ich will David nicht belügen:
KJV + EL = Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie to David.
Ps 89,36 Sein Same soll ewig sein und sein Thron vor mir wie die Sonne;
KJV + EL = His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me.

Ps 89,41 Es berauben ihn alle, die vorübergehen; er ist seinen Nachbarn ein Spott geworden.

Ps 89,42 Du erhöhst die Rechte seiner Widersacher und erfreust alle seine Feinde.

Ps 89,43 Auch hast du die Kraft seines Schwertes weggenommen und läßt ihn nicht siegen im Streit.

Ps 89,44 MENGE = du hast seinem Glanz ein Ende gemacht und seinen Thron zu Boden gestürzt;
KJV + EL = You have made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.
Ps 89,45 Du verkürzt die Zeit seiner Jugend und bedeckst ihn mit Hohn. (Sela.)

Ps 89,46 O JAHWEH, wie lange willst du dich so gar verbergen und deinen Grimm wie Feuer brennen lassen?
KJV + EL = How long, O YAHWEH? Will you hide yourself forever? Shall your wrath burn like fire?

Ps 89,47 MENGE = Bedenke, wie kurz meine Lebensdauer ist, wie vergänglich du alle Menschenkinder geschaffen!

Ps 89,49 MENGE = Wo sind deine früheren Gnadenverheißungen, O JAHWEH, die du David zugeschworen in deiner Treue?

Ps 89,51 womit dich, O JAHWEH, deine Feinde schmähen (MENGE = womit deine Feinde uns höhnen, O JAHWEH), mit der sie schmähen/gehöhnt haben die Fußstapfen deines Gesalbten.
