      January 11

      Sustain - Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 KJV

      The LORD can bear the weight of my burdens. I freely give my burdens to the LORD. The LORD will take my burdens and hold me up.

      January 12

      Life Up A Standard - So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19 KJV

      There are times when we seem to be singled out for special events in your life. Just as the pressure from a flood can be overwhelming so can the pressures of life or special events in your life seem overwhelming. Although the pressures against me can be strong, God has given me the Spirit of the LORD, which is stronger.

      Walk - And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day, Genesis 48:15 KJV

      My God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God will walk with me all my days.

      Compassion - The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. Psalm 116:5 NIV

      My Heart - Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You. Psalm 119:11 NKJV

      The Holy Spirit brings to our remembrance the Word of God that we have in our hearts and minds. He can only bring into remembrance what is within us.

      Wait On The Lord - Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! Psalm 27:14 NKJV

      The LORD will strengthen my heart, so I will be of good courage, as I wait on Him.

      My Burden Is Light - Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 KJV

      We have an open invitation to go to the Lord. We just need to accept the invitation and go. He has promised to take our burdens and give us rest, rest that only He can give. Rest for your soul is waiting for you.

      Mercy For Ever - To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever: The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever: Psalm 136:7-8 KJV

      To Him who made all things, His mercy endureth for ever.

      Liberty - All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 1 Corinthians 6:12 NKJV

      I can do anything I please, but I ask the question, does it glorify God? Am I willing to reap the consequences of what I have sown? I will strive to live so that nothing or no one will have power over me.

      Walk - Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. Exodus 16:4 KJV

      This was a Divine supply of food for their daily needs. They were only to gather what was needed for the day and trust that God would provide for them again tomorrow. Are you trusting God on your daily walk?

      Speak No Evil - Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips. Psalm 141:3 NKJV

      You say in Your Word, “Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters this should not be.” James 3:10 NIV. Help me O LORD with my communications.

      Remember Me - Remember me, O LORD, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation, Psalm 106:4 NKJV

      Think on me LORD with your favor, for I know there is no salvation apart from You.

      According To The Flesh - Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. Romans 8:5 NIV

      To live my life according to the flesh leads to my demise to live according to the Spirit leads to life and peace.

      Blessed - “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV

      I am blessed!! My confidence and trust are in the Lord. My roots are planted deep in the Lord and I have given Him my worries. I will SHOUT, “I shall not be moved”!!

      Wait On The Lord - The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3:25-26 KJV

      As I seek the LORD with my whole heart it teaches me to wait on Him with the hope that is within me.
