Chapter 20
Matt. 20,1 For the kingdom of heaven is like to a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard.
Matt. 20,2 And when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
Matt. 20,3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
Matt. 20,4 And said to them; Go you also into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
Matt. 20,5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
Matt. 20,6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and said to them, Why stand you here all the day idle?
Matt. 20,7 They say to him, Because no man has hired us. He said to them, Go you also into the vineyard; and whatever is right, that shall you receive.
Matt. 20,8 So when even was come, the master of the vineyard said to his steward, Call the laborers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last to the first.
Matt. 20,9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a denarius.
Matt. 20,10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a denarius.
Matt. 20,11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
Matt. 20,12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and you have made them equal to us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
Matt. 20,13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do you no wrong: did not you agree with me for a denarius?
Matt. 20,14 Take that yours is, and go your way! I will give to this last, even as to you.
Matt. 20,15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with my own? Is your eye evil, because I am good?

Matt. 20,16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many are called, but few chosen.
Third announcement of suffering.

Matt. 20,17 And Yahshua going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said to them,
Matt. 20,18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed to the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,

Matt. 20,22 But Yahshua answered and said, You know not what you ask. Are you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
