THE COPS WALK UP TO CLARISSA AND BRIAN. BY NOW THE PROPELLERS OF THE CHOPPER HAVE COME TO A STOP.
COP 1

We'll need to look in the shed guys.
CLARISSA TWIRLS A FINGER THROUGH HER HAIR. SHE CALMLY APPROACHES THE COPS. HER VOICE IS SMOOTHER THAN THE DUNES.
CLARISSA
We've only got some cameras inside. Hey - do you think we could film you two?
COP 1
You can film us. But we need to take a look inside.
THE COPS SMILE. THEY PUSH PAST CLARISSA AND BRIAN AND THEN THE FIRST ONE CAREFULLY OPENS THE DOOR. CLARISSA LOOKS AT BRIAN.
CLARISSA

Look guys; we're awful glad we found this place. We're under a lot of stress right now. And - trust me - we're searching Utah for something a lot more dangerous than some friendly botanists. And you may be able to help us out.

ONE COP APPROACHES CLARISSA.

Here's the deal.
HE SHOWS HER HIS BADGE.

I'm police chief Tom. And this mission we're on is pretty damn important. Fact is; some sands in Utah has been rising over the past several years. We have data from satellites. Something's happening underground. Someone's testing nuclear weapons [1.] [2.] around here. And these are the people we're after. I'm relieved that you guys aren't the ones, but also pretty damn annoyed we haven't found them yet.
CLARISSA TAKES A DEEP BREATH.
CLARISSA
In Utah? Oh no.
COP 2
We all know what happened in Australia. No one should have nuclear weapons.
CLARISSA
Look, whatever help you guys need we'll give it to you.
CLARISSA TURNS AROUND.
SHE TAKES ANOTHER DEEP BREATH.
